Cancellation Policy

This Cancellation Policy forms part of the Terms & Conditions of Rent My Wardrobe NZ Limited (“RMW”). By placing an order or subscription with RMW, you agree to the following:

1. Rentals

  • Cancellations 10+ Days in Advance: Cancellations made ten (10) or more days before the rental start date may be eligible for store credit at RMW’s discretion. Refunds will not be issued.
  • Cancellations Within 10 Days: Bookings cancelled within ten (10) days of the rental start date are non-refundable and not eligible for store credit.
  • Event Cancellations/Postponements: RMW is not responsible for customer event cancellations, postponements, or changes of mind. No refunds or credits will be issued in these cases.
  • Amendments: Any change to a booking (including garment, size, or date changes) is treated as a continuation of the original contract, not a cancellation. All obligations (returns, late fees, damage liability) remain binding.

2. Muse+ Subscriptions

  • Ongoing Billing: By subscribing, you authorise automatic recurring charges until you cancel in accordance with this policy.
  • Cancellation: Subscriptions may be cancelled at any time via your online account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • No Refunds: Subscription fees already paid are non-refundable, including mid-cycle cancellations. No pro-rata refunds will be offered.
  • Suspension/Termination: RMW may suspend or cancel a subscription without refund if fees remain unpaid, garments are not returned, or Terms are otherwise breached.

3. Try-Ons

  • In-Store Appointments: Try-on appointments may be rescheduled or cancelled up to 24 hours in advance without penalty.
  • No Shows: Failure to attend an appointment without notice will result in forfeiture of any try-on fees, and future booking restrictions may apply.
  • Postal Try-Ons: Fees for postal try-ons are non-refundable once the order has been dispatched.

4. Collaborations & Consignment

  • Collaborations: If you are provided with garments under an influencer, gifted, or collaboration arrangement, cancellation of agreed deliverables (such as content creation) will be treated as a breach of agreement. You may be invoiced for the full RRP of the garment(s) and may lose eligibility for future partnerships.
  • Consignment: Consignment agreements are governed by separate signed contracts. Cancellation of consignment terms will be subject to those agreements.

5. Force Majeure

RMW is not liable for failure to fulfil an order due to events beyond our reasonable control, including courier delays, natural disasters, or government restrictions. In such cases, RMW may provide store credit at its discretion, but refunds are not guaranteed.
